When most people go to Fort Lauderdale on vacation, they prefer to stay at a hotel that is in the city or downtown. However, my husband prefers to stay near the airport so that we have a short trip getting back to our flight to go back home. Because of this we have always stayed at Fort Lauderdale airport hotels anytime we vacation there. Believe it or not, this has been a very enjoyable experience for us. The hotel is always immaculately clean and is even quieter than what one might expect. Not only that, but we also save money by staying near the airport instead of in the city.
