Luckily, when it comes to the really important things there is a wealth of information that is available for free. When I found out that my husband had filed for divorce the first that I did was go down to the local library and check out every book that I could on child custody and divorces. I then locked myself in my bedroom for two days and I think that I read about 20 books cover to cover. I came out knowing that I was going to win this battle. Just having some of the facts gave me the courage to proceed.
