A good friend of mine has been battling the effects of MS for over twenty years. His courage and stamina are quite remarkable; not to mention encouraging. A few years back, it became evident that his current home was becoming increasingly difficult to navigate. So instead of moving to a newer home, one with one level only, he decided to have a residential elevator installed and stay where he was. That decision turned out to be one of the best decisions he could have made. The cost was offset by a portion of his insurance company and the freedom it allowed him was truly uplifting.
