Our house needs a complete exterior make over, siding, windows, shutters, doors, roof, soffit and fascia, and rain gutters.  We built the house over twenty years ago and haven’t made any changes to the outside in all that time.  The siding has faded over the years and the formerly Colonial Blue vinyl siding is now a very light blue.  We want to change the color and style of siding and install windows that can be pulled inside for easy cleaning.  My husband and I saw a program on HGTV where solid copper rain gutters were used in an exterior remodel.  We really like the looks of the copper gutters, but are concerned about how they will look after being exposed to the weather for a year.  Looks like we will have to use a substitute made of another material with a copper appearance.
