You should let them walk or ride their bikes instead of driving them for short distances. You save gas and the same time help them exercise.
Also you can let them use the stairs instead of escalators or elevators in malls or small building.
Giving them chores is not a good exercise for them it also teaches them about responsibility. Giving them chores in the house can also lessen your work load at home
It also important that you do things together like family exercise.
