My wife got me a great gift for this last birthday. She tends to be a pretty fantastic mix of practical and fun and this gift was no exception. I was given a pretty sweet gift that can be considered both of those things. She got me a Panasonic blue ray player that is just what I was hoping to get for this birthday. She knew that even though we have a nice DVD player, this one would be the upgrade that would make our system the kind of great entertainment system that we will enjoy far more than we otherwise would.

I am really confused. I thought that PC Protector was a type of virus protection software, but now I have read that it is a scam, and that they send malware to mess up your computer and give you fake virus alerts so that you buy there program to get rid of nonexistent viruses. Which is true? Should people remove PC Protector if they have it on their computer? It really sucks that a company would do something like that, but I suppose I can believe it. I am glad I didn’t end up getting this on my computer or buying it.

I sell gold, well not actually real gold. I sell game gold for various virtual online games. It works out pretty well for me. I buy left over playing currency from people who are giving up the games.Then I turn around as a World of Warcraft Gold Seller and sell them again. My parents think I am crazy to be spending so much time online, but my profits are beginning to actually be significant. The other day I sold a lot of money to a newcomer who doesn’t want to waste time leveling his character. He wants to get in the action much faster. I guess it’s whatever you want to do to be powerful.

There is no shortage of the things you can shop for online.  Often, online shoppers are more savvy. They take the time to carefully read the descriptions and reviews of each item, and aren’t just dazzled by the flash of a fancy display. Shoppers who are hoping to buy cell phones online can search for a particular model, or browse by features, or even the type of contract they are looking for.  Once the decision has been made, the phone can be shipped, and the plan can be activated.  The convenience and variety of online shopping is the way to go for those in the market for a cell phone.

Life is great and I am happy with how things have been working out. I have been talking to all of my friends about how things have been turning around for me. I lost my job about a year and a half ago. I was really struggling. My friend got me a job as a Cardiology EMR tech and I am loving every minute of it. I do something that I enjoy doing and something I can use my computer skills on. I maintain all of the systems and it is really easy for me to do. This is a big improvement!

I just purchased some regcure software so that I can clean up the registry on my computer.  I did not know that this was a problem, even though I run my spyware programs and virus programs I thought I was covered and I just use my computer every day.  I did not think that there was anything else I really needed to do except maybe back up my files periodically.  I am very bad about doing that, I always forgets to back things up.  When I started having problems with the computer I started backing things up right away thinking that my computer might be done for, but it sounds like an easy fix.

This past weekend I helped a lot of my friends do some work with habitat for humanity. This is one of the things I do during the week and on weekends. On this particular weekend I had a real enjoyable time putting on a roof on the house. I have never done any sort of roofing type work in my life. This was a good thing because I was considering putting a new roof on my house in the future and I was gaining valuable experience in process. I also had time to think about my upcoming fishing trip and the spyware remover software that I was going to be purchasing this coming weekend.

After “the incident” (which is what I call my experience with losing all my data when my old PC died), I decided that I needed to look into the different sorts of data file backup solutions. At first it seemed that the best method of backing up my new computer’s files was to buy an external drive or two. But, after really thinking it through, I came to realize that the best method of backing things up was to use an online backup service provider, because that way I would always know that my data was not only cloned, but also be able to rest easy with the knowledge that my files now resided in two separate physical locations as well.

I am planning on giving my old laptop to my nephew. I had just been planning on deleting all of my personal information, and then passing it along. A friend at work explained to me why that was such a bad idea. Even if I trust my nephew, what if he lost the laptop or it was stolen. In the past I had stored passwords on this computer along with financial information. So, I downloaded ParetoLogic Privacy Controls and I was able to erase everything that was ever stored on the computer. I feel a lot better now about giving away my laptop.
